I like this guy. He's come on an Everton forum and not expected everyone to love Liverpool and has taken it all with style, without resorting to the usual 'bitter blues' rhetoric. Argued the case for his team with thoughtful, balanced posts. Hope you stick around mate. With a username like that, I though you were Español at first.

The lad has an engine on him, like Downing, which has been a many a downfall for over hyping English players. But he doesn't have anything about him to say hell be anything but average, doesn't unlock doors, not a great tackler, decent cross/long ball.

I prefer Spearing to him mate. Youd have saved or bought another striker with the Henderson money if you had a bit of faith in Quato.

I know what you mean, and he's poor on the wing because he's not got much going for pace, but i think he's got quite a good pass on him and a bit more creativity than the rest of the team at times whereas Spearing will just run and run. They're different players but we need Spearing right now because Adam and Henderson don't do defending.

It's like the Modric role though, he picks the ball up and gets it moving forward without picking out the final pass, so he gets away with it. Just realised actually, he scored against Bolton(?) Downing has nothing to show for his appearances and that's a bad thing/
 
He set up Suarez against Stoke too in the cup, you're probably getting him mixed up with Downing.
 
Remember Downing stamping his feet - literally, stamping his feet because he wasnt given the ball, it was for Boro and Cars kept Mendieta out of the game, funny. When he was stamping his feet the entire ground laughed, even their fans. What a spineless excuse for a human being. Found his kin at Klanfield.
