Klanfield. Hehehehe.
Although as an Evertonian I find this all amusing, there is a serious downside.
This will brand the entire population of Merseyside in a negative light. It always does and, as an ex-pat, it does my head in.
There should be a disclaimer from the city along the lines of:
'The behaviour of Liverpool Football Club, it's management, players and some supporters does not reflect the views and opinions of the vast majority of the people of Liverpool'.
Or something like that.
Doubt that mate. Usually it works this way: if one club in a city is seen a certain way, the other is seen in the opposite light. Binary opposition...the mind usually works in that way.
Sadly, having lived in Devon for the last 20 years, LFC IS Liverpool. Most people here in Yokel Land aren't aware that Everton is in Liverpool.
One of the local Barnstaple 'schools' has an Assistant Headmaster who used his assemblies to slur Liverpool and its peoples. He did until I spoke to him earlier this year. This Suarez 'affair' will make life difficult for us all.
Are they only available in white?
Don't mix it with colours or it'll run in the wash.
That's what Alan Hansen says too.
The last thing you'd want is a pink pillowcase
