That is extortion. It's over 2.5k. The flights are probably around 500. You get to visit 2 cathedrals (free of charge), go on the ferry (probably off peak for a couple of quid) and stay in the ever so posh and expensive Travellodge. The they take you to a few shops in Cheshire. The most expensive part is probably the Beatles tour.

Would absolutely love it if they gave the managers job to that buffoon Gerrard. He’s a complete tool who was so tactically limited that Benitez had to shove him about all over the front line to accommodate him as he didn’t have a clue about the game. Basically he was great at timing runs into the box and swinging his right boot hopefully at stuff whilst real players like Alonso and Mascherano actually dictated play.

It would be even better than when Dogleash went back and wandered on the pitch like a lost grandad every time there was a flare up.

They’ve spent big on Keita, Salah, Oxlade Chamberlain and Van Dijk without anyone leaving prior to Coutinho. FSG stumped up over the odds for all three players on the say so of Klopp. No one else has left the midfield so it looks to me as though Klopp knew Coutinho was going and did deals for Keita and Ox and even Salah. The orc hordes of Mordor have forgotten this though and are now demanding even more expenditure. It’s a completely crazy expectation, a star forward has been brought in under FSG every season Klopp has been there. Mane last season, Salah this season, a world record fee on a centreback, a club record on a midfielder, none of his key players sold, Klopp allowed to keep Can and run his contract down. Then as soon as Klopp sells one player they get the pitchforks out for FSG who actually said it was Klopps decision. Utterly bizarre set of fans.

They should address the real issue here which is why when their rivals have been distracted by Europe and Liverpool have had a fearsome frontline have they failed to challenge for the league when the likes of Leicester Spurs and Chelsea have all managed it. They have overhyped Klopp who has spent a small fortune on star forwards to no return at all. I’m not surprised FSG have shut the purse.
