Totally agree, but if we were to drop Lineker and Co an email on the matter chances are that would be mentioned on air and dismissed as a typical Bitter Blue whinge thus mocking us further.
Me, I just revel in knowing how their inner souls must be in turmoil having to resort to snide comments like those, rather than celebrating winning the Prem

Resorting to snide comments about the mighty blues , to take their minds off the fact the rs are now a Premier League insignificance

Any other manager sets a team out like fsw did yesterday and there would be an outpouring of phoney outrage from the mutants pretending they have some deeply held footballing morals that have been transgressed.

Fsw does it and he's a tactical genius apparently.

Pressure is on them after that Spurs win yesterday. This is just the type of game you expect them to lose points in too.

Hold them for 30 minutes and you stand a great chance of beating them, never mind drawing.

I have accepted they will likely get top 4 again this season. Oddly I still think of Arsenal click they could go on a terrific run, but can see Chelsea imploding (and not really recovering) from this season.

The old news is however I sense there's a high water mark for Klopp and its this season. I still think they are 4th and I can see Salah disrupting them next summer. He will have been their 3 seasons and things will invariably start to go wrong for them after that, as the manager struggles to handle the insane pressure they pile on a manager. Both Benitez and Houllier broke at a similar period.

Firmino and Salah are massively outperforming this season. I suspect they regress back to Mane level next year. While Keita is a decent player he's far from world class.

I never say never with them, but I can't see them winning the CL, so it will be another season of significant investment with no tangible output.

I'm very relaxed about them, so relaxed its funny. City are miles ahead of them. When Spurs have the new ground they will move on from them. United are in another league to them financially (remember when they were saying they'd sign Sanchez) and will click at some point. They are battling it out with 3 others for 4th and if they fail their owners are increasingly likely to sell to cover the cost. Arsenal will soon get rid of Wenger, and have a massively more potent front line than them, they just need to be coached properly.

It will be turbulent for a few months, but they are drifting into obscurity as part of a longer picture.

I cant see any of United, Chelsea or Spurs finishing 5th. Liverpool are in the zone right now apart from that Swansea blip. But they are very vulnerable when teams hold them to HT. They cant get the job done much of the time.

They have a good run in on paper, but the less likely teams to beat them are the ones they have problems with. IMO they'll have a poor run of form and wont recover enough. Just watch what happens when this CL round of games comes around. They cant handle the two games in a week periods. If they get past Porto they'll suffer again in the PL too.

Liverpool have got a couple of players who can hurt you upfront. They need to keep them in form and fit. Other than that they are bang average everywhere else.

Liverpool 5th for me, with Arsenal pushing them for it in their usual late surge.

I think they will always be top 4 there or there abouts, but i don't see them ever winning anything under Klopp. Also you mention Keita. I don't know how much German football you watch? i tend to watch quite a bit as i like it, and Keita has been found out quite a bit this season. Earlier on in the season other teams were targeting him and winding him up (he's got a hell of a temper on him) since then he's calmed down on the red cards but opposition teams are closing him out of games. He is defo a decent player and a noticable upgrade on Henderson but he's not the world beater that all the RS fans seem to think imo.

They're finishing no lower than 4th.

Being honest, I could easily see them finishing 2nd. Looking at their remaining fixtures the only teams they have left to play from the top 6 are Man U and Chelsea, the rest are against teams in the bottom half of the table, saying that though, they're the teams who will park the bus, and the teams they seem to struggle against.

Ditto. The only thing may be that derail them from finishing second, as @LouReedwalkonthewildside mentions, is the teams looking for survival.

That or if they progress further in the Champions League and they took their eye off the ball, or fatigue finally sets in through their style.

Still, I can't see that being very likely so I most likely expect them to finish second or third.

They'll beat Utd & Chelsea handily. Outside of City and probably Spurs they're the best team in the league right now.

What's mad though is that if you took Salah away they'd be no better than Chelsea. Take Firminho away as well and suddenly they look very ordinary..

On the RS they have 2 games left away to Chelsea and United,Spurs have Chelsea away and City at home.

Those teams Spurs and RS play from about March onwards the majority of them will be thinking about the summer hols and coasting through games and the rest will be long gone from safety, another thing the RS have no FA cup games so if they go out of the CL will have bigger gaps between games that helped them last year in the top 4 run in.

Chelsea and United look the most vulnerable from their remaining fixtures, they play 4 fixtures each against the top 6 with a bigger % to drop points in those 12 points available each.

Chelsea are struggling for goals,Moratta has gone back to his Juve days where he averaged 7 goals a season and Giroud has been bought to be a impact sub, that team is heavily reliant on Hazard pulling all the strings and the team also know Conte won't be there next season.

United will have more than enough to stay top 4,they have a flat track bully striker and they are strong defensively to batter the teams at the bottom.

Arsenal are done,8 or 9 points behind top 4 and defensively a shambles and have a league cup final in their fixtures and Europa league if they it serious in the latter stages and also play city again in the league at home and United away where they are awful.

Top 4 will be City United Spurs and the RS.

I hope they get top 4 because they won't be winning the league while they're in the CL and the money's hardly a difference maker anymore. The only chance they'll ever have of winning the league is like the season they thought they'd won it but embarrassed themselves, when everyone else had Europe in the week and they didn't. United attracted better players when they finished outside the top 4 than they ever will with CL so that's not an issue anymore either.

They’re starting to look tired. Much like they did last season in November. Only this time they’ve lasted a bit longer because
Rubber jaw learned a bit of a lesson and has rotated more, but tiring they are.
All those teams battling relegation are tough to play and will be fighting for their lives, 5th for me.

They’ve played poorly v us Spurs Swansea West Brom and even Southampton. This is not the Liverpool of the early season, even Southampton we’re getting chances galore again st them. Last season they fell over the line with Can worldies dragging them there. One injury to Firmino or Salah and it would all fall down but even with them they’re not playing great. A good side will expose them at some point like Spurs almost did.

Last season Leicester got £73m for reaching the last 8 and Arsenal got £58m for reaching the last 16. So there is still plenty of money to be earned from the CL. It will also make it easier for them when recruiting players.

I think the top 4 will go right down the wire this season.
