I think he'll give them a second season as he was obviously a Liverpool fan growing up in the back streets of Cairo. If they win nothing next season too he'll probably go for a massive amount.

LIVERPOOL defender Jamie Carragher was involved in an amazing payback plot to attack Lucas Neill after the Aussie broke Carragher's leg.
Furious Carragher was left in agony after the crunching tackle snapped the former England player's leg during a match in September 2003 while Neill was still at Blackburn Rovers.

But in his autobiography - now being serialised in the British press - he admitted he almost got his pals to mete out his revenge.

The Daily Mirror revealed this astonishing extract from the autobiography: "My mates were ready to hunt him down if I gave the go-ahead.

"A few weeks later I received a phone call. 'You won't believe this, Jay. We're in [Manchester shopping mall] the Trafford Centre and Lucas Neill is walking straight towards us. What do you reckon?'

"Did I really want Neill to take a crack? 'There's only one problem,' added the voice. 'Little Davey Thommo is with him.'

"That was that. I could hardly let one of my best mates, David Thompson, now a Blackburn player, become a witness to an assault.

"Besides, he'd have recognised the attackers. The impromptu mission was aborted and I sent a text to Thommo telling him Neill should give him a hug of thanks."

Carragher added: "As word got back to Blackburn about the near miss, or should that be hit, their coach Terry Darracott, a Scouser, appealed to one of my friends to call the boys off. I agreed."

Liverpool fc is a diseased riddled rabid dog that bites and infects anything that's associated with it.

Seriously, if it was actually labelled as a copy or a religion, people would be asking serious questions about all the controversy it's believers and employees get caught up in on a nearly daily basis now.

You know an article is developed and made up when the kid grows a year whilst the article is being written.

Exactly this, wtf like? He can accept abuse from 40,000 plus every week, but 3 guys on a motorway and he loses it. Utter nonsense ,this is all brought about again by the bitters being so bitter towards united and their success. Hence another munich video coming out. They can't label us bitter and say about all these Hillsborough chants yet never have video proof, when every time they do it, there's always proof.


Just another example of why they're the only bitter team in Liverpool.

Butland is hugely overhyped. If they want to spend a fair chunk of their budget on a keeper that’s slightly better than the one they’ve got then fair enough. Is their defensive record since Van Dijk arrived that good? Swansea, West Brom beat them, even we scored at Anfield, United could have put 3 or 4 past them.

They’re a decent team but they’re probably where they should be in the table. They’re 4th or 5th best in my view probably 4th seeing as Chelsea have imploded. Spurs took 4 points from them though, United took 4 points from them, City are miles ahead.

If they go out of the CL, how does Klopp explain why despite having the best front four in the world, then the best front three, and buying the best defender in the history of the game he’ll have once again won nothing and at best will do a Wenger (mean while Guardiola has the league and league cup and one of Mourinho Conte or Pochettino has the FA cup)

Their acolytes in the media told them all for the entire season that they were better than United, and were the second best team in England and will be the best next year because they play the best football. Mourinho and United dismantled the myth and it was too much for them to take. Over 2 games v United they had one chance of their own making (Matip’s at Anfield from a set piece). They had 2 bites at the cherry and were found not good enough and they all know it. That’s no wins in last 8 v United stretching back to LVGs dominance over them.

I love the way they keep reporting how he has apologised. Of course he has, he gets paid millions and knows he may lose his job, but the media will lap it up and keep repeating how sorry he is. I notice that the Telegraph and Sky don’t seem to be reporting it at all, I wonder why ?......
