I don’t know where Firminho thinks he’s going but like the Barkley situation, when players are refusing contracts, demanding moves, you can bet they’ve got a good idea who wants them.

If I was betting, I’d bet he’s off to Bayern or Barca myself.

He’s a pivotal part of the RS’s system, a much better player than Mane and they’ll badly miss him. It’s not just 1 good season.

He must see the likes of Jesus starting for Brazil ahead of him and realise that he has to move clubs to make it as the number 1 for his country. He didn’t play a minute over the last international break. The kopites were relishing that but imagine being the player in a World Cup year and your best mate Coutinho has had his status elevated to being the star of the team alongside Neymar and you’re on the bench as a guy who isn’t even first choice at City plays upfront.

Firmino is superb mate, score goals and breaks up the opposition attacks, also works his socks off.

i was watching the brazil russia game and he came on. Not for long like, but you do make a valid point. Then again, he's not better than jesus, costa or neymar so i don't think moving clubs would help him start.

Anyway, the bitters aren't going to keep getting lucky with signings like salah when they're selling their best players every year. Klopp's got them a couple of good signings since he's been there, but can you imagine how bad they'd be if salah flopped. With selling coutinho, can on his way out and firminho looking to move they wouldn't have any good players left.

Apparently hasn’t made a difference if you believe that lot. They’re better without him and are going to win the CL.

Klopp has lucked out in some ways. Arguably two of his best players were Rodgers buys in Firmino and Coutinho. Salah and Mane have been good buys (although imagine if Salah had only turned out to be good rather than world class). But have Karius Matip Wijnaldum Oxlade Chamberlain Solanke Robertson been that good?

I'd say Robertson has been a fantastic buy.

I hear them say this but then I’ve heard them say it about loads of left backs previously, all of whom proved to be average to good players at best.

The only time I’ve seen him live was the debt and I thought Bolasie terrorised him every time he got the ball. It’s a pity we never got it too him a bit more.
