That's another concern for Liverpool. Klopp has a massive monkey on his back in that respect. At least they don't have a manager that bottles it at the finals stage of big competitions...

They're on a roll davek.I cant see Liverpool winning the competition. It could have been a tougher route through for them, but I just dont get that feeling of dread I had in 2005. I think there's mounting expectation on this lot now and I dont think they handle expectation too well.
This Roma tie will be very interesting and the final (though more of a toss up with a class team and therefore winnable) still looks like a tall order for them.
For me: I wouldn't write ANY of these four off. The overwhelming favourites though are still Madrid. If they hold off Bayern I cant see them losing a final of this magnitude. It's Real Madrid. It's the European Cup. It's virtually a done deal. They're on a roll davek.
They have adapted well to the European campaign and I can easily see them in the final.
I took some comfort for the tie against City in the knowledge it was a two leg affair and City would prevail.
In a one off game even against Real or Bayern I couldn't write them off not for one moment.
You sure do love reading other teams forums mate.Link please mate need something to cheer me up.
Roma are gash and play in a gash league. Kopites are loving this.
A few weeks ago I was practically laughed off here for suggesting that Man City was the ideal draw for Liverpool, especially over 2 legs. That's because I believe that Liverpool are far more effective against teams that come at them, especially those that like to play out of from the back. Though there were one or two refereeing decisions that went against City, I was still not in the slightest surprised that Liverpool came through that tie and reasonably comfortably too.Absolute codswallop. That's the best draw for you and you know it.
UEFA made sure you beat City with not one, but several contentious decisions going in your favour - i'd have put my mortgage on you drawing the worst team of the 3 remaining.
I wish they put me off my food I’d be skinny as fckTypical of these lot to draw the worst team in the competition besides maybe Bayern, and of course they can't draw themselves...
I won't have an appetite until they get knocked off...
what are you studying soapy lad ?Why did UEFA make sure Liverpool beat City? Genuine question - my tin foil hat is at the ready.
whats your problem lad, I can't stand them and we just knew that they would draw Roma in the semi, with them being the outsiders of the four with the bookies.
And it's the perennial final loser in charge of the opposition. For me: I wouldn't write ANY of these four off. The overwhelming favourites though are still Madrid. I've got to admit to fighting the temptation to both watch and/or listen to their games, after all I support Everton. If they get the help they got against City they could beat any team that has ever existed. That's what I'm worried about, I'd say they're probably the worst team left in the competition and absolutely miles behind Madrid and Munich but you never know.
