ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

A snide horrible typical Klopp comment that. Blame everyone and everything but not his 75 million Rolls Royce defender who played everyone on side for one of the goals when all he had to do was step out a yard.
He knows he can’t afford to rest players against Stoke now, for the game in Rome. Probably why he was fuming.
It get worse. Firstly, he labelled their comeback as "useless" alongside this pearler of a quote when spoken to after a game:

"I don't think that point will help West Brom massively, it is a complete waste of points. They don't need it, we would have needed it,"

"They are happy now, we are not happy. We stay in the league, they don't stay in the league - it is a strange situation." Petulance once again!

Yeah, West Brom should have just let them win really shouldn't they, so as not to "waste" the points?

I think Roma are capable of doing a job on them. Look at the results they've had in this competition already.

Madrid are three-in-a-row winners though. No one will beat them.

The RS will hate playing them dave, Roma won't go all gung-ho, they'll sit back and keep it tight, and the RS struggle against teams who don't come out and open themselves up to their style pf play.

Typical petulance of a one trick pony who wasn't allowed an easy game. Frustrate them and see the wheels come off. I'm surprised that this hasn't happened more this season.

Enjoying a few days away in North Wales with the missus and we were on a beach near Abersoch this afternoon. This guy comes and sits on a bench near where we were sitting with a radio blaring listening to the Liverpool match.

Anyway that's enough for me, I went for a walk along the beach which is about a mile long. I get back about 45 minutes later, the match has presumably finished as the radio was no longer on. This guy leaves about an hour later and I could tell that the missus had been dying to tell me something.

Turns out this guy was a scouser, obviously a RS, and this other guy came to sit with him whilst he was listening to the match. Apparently their conversation got on to our new stadium and the missus said they were quite animated about it. The scouser said quote "I don't know why they want a new stadium anyway, they can't fill the ne they've got":)

I wonder sometimes if we're really from the dame city as these idiots. It shows they're pissing themselves over this new riverside location though.

If the missus had told me earlier I'd have gone over and kicked sand in their faceslol

Their sense of entitlement lends them to believe that when people hear their loudmouth comments which are ignored, it means people agree with them. Instead of which, of course, they simply are very much being ignored. Its a parallel orbit being an RS....I guess like being, as self important as in that Victoria Wood show 'fly on the wall' sketch, "Its Hard Being A Telephone Deodoriser"

we showed the league how to play Liverpool. We frustrated them and then nearly put them to the sword. Certainly, the balance of power in recent years has swung toward the blue half of Merseyside.

It all feels right to me. What you said plus the fact that Salah is well known to Roma and the fact that the expectation is with Liverpool...and I dont think they handle it too well. Today's slip up looks like a club nervously eyeing another game to me.

I make Liverpool slight favourites though tbh. However, it'll be tight. And if Madrid come through the other SF then it really doesn't matter, imo.

Uhh I think it probably requires a bit more swinging our way before I'm happy with it. I do believe that we are thinking bigger than them in the medium and long term. It's the darkest before the dawn and it ain't going to get any darker than playing under Big Scam. Onwards and upwards.
