ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

...that said, they do have very good defenders.

In a one off shoot out Madrid has to be favourites even against Liverpool the way they're playing.

As said, dont underestimate the enormity of the occasion getting to a team with zero experience of these games. It'll impact on them for sure.
It’s our only hope. Let’s not write off Bayern, though. They’re a powerhouse of Europe, too.

They are in the zone this Liverpool team.

They may well ride their form all the way to winning the CL. They must be joint favourites with Madrid right now. It's utterly horrendous to watch.

But hold onto this thought: for all their fine form and goals and blitzing teams - so far they've won nothing...and neither has their manager for about 5 years. How devastating for them would it be to lose that final? It would be sweet as a 'kin nut to see them crying bucket loads in Kiev with a season they got nothing from.

That scenario is still a very realistic one given the cast iron assurance they'll be playing a class team in the final

I like you blue.
Not sure you're telling the whole truth tho.
Its the truth mate. I just reached saturation point with them. Surrounded by them every day, I could either let it eat me up or learn to live with it. I just don't care anymore. I used to hate them beyond anything, I pretended that I didn't care about them for a long time but eventually it just became easier to really not care.

Klopp's dreadful record in finals is the only thing that hasn't made my head fall off yet. I don't know who to side with tomorrow. Real Madrid have great pedigree in this competition right now and a truly big game player in Ronaldo but Heynckes beat Klippity in a Champs League final already but that Dortmund team didn't have anyone anywhere near Salah's quality and that Bayern team had prime Robben and Ribery.

But seriously I hope nobody ever brings up the name of Eusebio Di Francesco ever for the Everton manager conversation. Playing on the halfway line against Liverpool, what an absolute clown.

One man team showing again I see, as soon as they take him off, just like against wba they crumble. Unbelievable luck to have him not get injured all season.

Liverpool's defend has been very very good since van Dijk, Robertson and Trent-Arnold came in. This isn't the Liverpool bad defending we all usually know. Carvajal, Ramos plus their midfield isn't fast enough.

I'm sorry but what? Ramos is very fast and the best defender in the world and carvajal is rapid.

Reals attack it technically amazing with isco, Ronaldo, asensio and lucus in there. Also the heavy hitters like benzema and bale to boot. It won't be about beating Liverpool for pace on the attack they can just pass it around the likes of taa, loveren and Robertson.

I like you blue.
Not sure if your trying to imply I'm anything other then a blue here mate but let me make it clear that I'm blue to the core like my Dad and Grandad. I've been going the match on the Glwady since I was five years old and I wouldn't have it any other way for the world. If that's not what you were implying then fair enough but FYI my post history in this thread alone would answer any wrong impression you might have.

I said in a post earlier today that if Roma set up with 3 at the back with Fazio as slow as a carthorse and leave 1v1's for the RS front 3 they will get blitzed.

The tie is over, the RS will score 2-3 over there against that slow defence and also play thorough that unbelievably slow midfield 3 of Naingolan Strootman and Di Rossi.

Shocking from the Roma manager playing 3 at the back in a high line.

Thanks mate, see you next Wednesday

Let it go lads. I've hated them all my life and it used to eat me up when they won stuff, but you know what? It's not worth it. Your better reaching the stage I'm at now and only caring about Everton while being bluntly dispassionate about everyone else, including them because following the blues leaves us with more then enough heartache. Seriously, it's surprisingly liberating to be this way. It's also incredibly annoying for them when confronted by a "bitter blue" who honestly doesn't give the tiniest of tiny F's about them.
I find this to be by far the best approach. Used to drive my old RS colleagues mad when I'd be completely unarsed about how they get on.

Klopp never winning a final
No team has ever won 3 in a row

Writing is on the wall
Madrid = European Cup. It's a formidable foe if they face them.

I'm in two minds right now: resigned to a nightmare; still rational enough to know they're inexperienced and that they'll face an almighty struggle in Kiev against a true Euro giant whoever they face.

Put to one side Madrid's failings this year and they've still got one hell of a squad. I'd prefer them over Bayern.

It was a combination of roma being terrible and Liverpool being excellent, but there are two positives I have took from that:

1: you would like to think Zidane or Heynckes won’t be that tactically backward to play to Liverpools strength like that.
2: Liverpools defence is bang average. They can be got at for sure, and their keeper is pure muck too. I’m hoping Ronaldo and his boys are in the final, he is the ultimate big game player.
