ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Hopefully Real Madrid come through from the other semi final.I think they would have a small chance against Bayern Munich. But Real Madrid should be far too good for them.

As bad as their actions were pre match against city.By all accounts an innocent man is critically injured in hosiptal. Two wrongs don't make a right imo.

One said to me, after the city first leg game. "I hope everyone behaves in the second leg, it just gives scousers a bad name"

They're a special breed alright.

Said Thor Evenstadt from Oslo as he paused to take his Big Stand worn shin pads from his red official club shop hologrammed Anfield game wearing rain soaked socks. The socks had remained but the shorts and top were safely, yet casually, draped in their Johnson’s Cleaners clear wrapper and obligatory yellow coat hanger for all to see.

He also expressed the fear of many such regular match going veterans ‘our latest success will only bring more day trippers and tourists to our place’. ‘Where we these glory hunters when we nearly won the league?’ ‘I bet they supported Chelsea back in the day.’

Pulled his song sheet out of his official £1.99 club shop over the shoulder plastic bag, with official European Match drawstring extension, extended his selfie stick, took a final snap of him in the 2018 Cup winning pre release official members hat, scarf, & special edition souvenir match going thirty three scarf attaching badges and casually asked the girl at the Enterprise car rental stand for directions to Gate 18 at John Lennon.

By Christ they are special. Their population of specialness has just quadrupled the past week. Its been a bad year alright, on and off our field.

Vintage "Liverpool Way" hypocrisy....do as we say...not as we do.

Sometimes you have to stand back and “admire” the shamelessness of Liverpool FC.

They are having a go at Rome’s Plod over a lack of clarity re security for their fans and have “expresed concern” about their safety.

Without for one moment showing or indeed expresing any remorse for the intimidation and lawlessness in the environs of Anfield, which they encouraged and which has very much set the tone for all that has happened over the past few weeks and which is making this Roma game such a flashpoint fixture.

Their fans were jumping up and down on police vans when this lad was attacked?

Someone remind me what it is they’re crying about?

If the police were allowed to do their job and not have to watch our for them feral idiots then nobody would have got tagged

As you know, that logical train of thought will never register over there.
they're truly a breed apart.
Will never forget sitting their distraught on the coach back after the carroll semi final, only to look over and see kopites fighting each other in a car park.........just imagine, you've beat your local rivals in a dramatic cup semi, and the first thing you do is have a scrap with one of your own....

According to the Echo, the Express have “backed down” and “apologised” for saying LFC have “a problem with fan behaviour”.

How craven is that?

Why not just refer them to the videos of City’s bus being attacked and the crowds dancing on top of police vehicles and say “explain how you don’t have a problem with fan behaviour”.

This is the apology: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/951793/Liverpool-fans-and-Football-Club-Our-apology/amp
