How have the roma fans been charged already? I haven't heard of anyone being charged for the assault on the city bus which started this whole sharade.

Did the bitters' fans provide police evidence for one criminal act but not the other? Laughing at all the fans who got interviewed giving it the big one "yeah, but we chased them away"... "roma fans ran away scared when Liverpool fans confronted them" etc. Wonder if there's a lack of evidence again to back this up just like their Hillsborough chant theories.

Thugs acting like thugs being targeted by thugs, no wonder they all come on here pretending to be blues, embarrassed of their own club.

They can't behave themselves. It's impossible. I accept that now. No more pleas to 'don't shame the city'. It's in their DNA. They'll riot and issue death threats at the drop of a hat. You can't blame the psychos though. The ones to blame are Liverpool FC who encourage it, or at least turn a blind eye to it, and UEFA, who should have acted against LFC and their failure to control their fans.

And this is half the problem.

The Echo pats them on the head and applauds their “passion”.

Then wring their hands and start whinging when the rest of the country stands back in horror as they watch the scenes from the last two European games at The Pit.

Its hard not to feel like this, especially after the season we have had. I'm just hoping for a womderful punchline, like in 2014, 15 and 16.

Very true. Shocked at the poor quality last night. Bayern paying the price each CL season (final stages) for being flat track bullies in the Bundesliga, a better version of Celtic, with zero real competiton. Embarrassing defending. Real were more assured, but some of their core players coming to the end.
