"Let's be honest - if we make the final - it will be very much like the Super Bowl just past -

All of the USA was cheering for the Eagles out side of the New England area and Dallas, TX and parts of New York and Washington.

The whole world will be cheering for Liverpool apart from Madrid/Munich, Everton Supporters in Liverpool, Lille, Manchester, and parts of London."

You'd think even the most deluded of Liverpool fans would realise that most of Turin might not be backing them.

Hahaha, they really are so far up their own arses

You’ve sort to got to admire their front

They know it’s going to kick off badly. Now they’ve covered their arse, all blame will be apportioned to Roma
It's a well worn track of being the perpetrator but claiming victimhood and needing to be seen as the victims...hence the big spin on this delegation to Rome to get the narrative settled on early. As a club they are peerless at that stunt.

From fan in the ale house to fan in the ground, from tea lady to CEO and major share owners: they all know the drill - accept no blame; blame someone else.

Why lille and parts of London ?

I’m sorry but there’s countless posts on here about how they have started off the circle of hooliganism. They’ve been at it for ages domestically trying to big up rivalries that don’t even exist with teams. United and Arsenal fans can mingle peacefully despite almost a decade of rivalry yet Liverpool fans won’t mix with Chelsea ones because they played each other a couple of years in a row. Same now with City, obviously United and is, they’ve tried with Spurs of late also.

Now they’re at it in Europe thinking that its perfectly logical to smash up teams buses, get in scraps with their fans in the street etc. but then expect that said fans willl treat them perfectly when they want to enjoy the away game (and by that I mean often trashing that city’s square or getting into fights with locals)

The club and police let it go for far too long (and continue to) and now there’s a situation where trouble is expected before a match has even started. I bet there was no need for Barcelona Atletico or Shakhtar fans to request a police escort in Rome. If something happens LFF will be the first to cry the victim but they should really take a look in-house first at how they could take responsibility more to prevent this cycle of violence.

LFC delegation gone to Rome to get assurances the right precautions are in place to avoid crowd disturbances.

You couldn't make that up.

Radio 5 reporting quite a bit on it and a fanzine type spokesman talking about the Italians not being helpful and putting out ‘bad vibes ‘ . Apparently there is real concern there could be trouble this from the same people who shared this before the city game :

“Bring your flares and flags. Banners and bangers. Pints and Pyro. There will be thousands of scouse voices ready to scare em back to Mancland with their tails between their legs before the match even starts."

They’re just an amazing breed .

Said without any hint of irony, I'll bet.
