ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I’m sorry but there’s countless posts on here about how they have started off the circle of hooliganism. They’ve been at it for ages domestically trying to big up rivalries that don’t even exist with teams. United and Arsenal fans can mingle peacefully despite almost a decade of rivalry yet Liverpool fans won’t mix with Chelsea ones because they played each other a couple of years in a row. Same now with City, obviously United and is, they’ve tried with Spurs of late also.

Now they’re at it in Europe thinking that its perfectly logical to smash up teams buses, get in scraps with their fans in the street etc. but then expect that said fans willl treat them perfectly when they want to enjoy the away game (and by that I mean often trashing that city’s square or getting into fights with locals)

The club and police let it go for far too long (and continue to) and now there’s a situation where trouble is expected before a match has even started. I bet there was no need for Barcelona Atletico or Shakhtar fans to request a police escort in Rome. If something happens LFF will be the first to cry the victim but they should really take a look in-house first at how they could take responsibility more to prevent this cycle of violence.

100% they started a hate rivalry with Chelsea in 2005 when they started to be better than them.

And now it's the same with Man City.

I see Arsenal have been charged by UEFA after fireworks were set off before the match against Athletico. The hearing is due to take place next Friday 4th May. Contrast this with Liverpool, also charged with the same offence and worse allowing their supporters to attack the team bus. This happened two weeks ago but the charges will not be dealt with until May 31st. Pathetic

It's like in F1 when if a Haas does something wrong, it's a stop go penalty, if a Ferrari does, it will be investigated after the race.

Why lille and parts of London ?

Lille is because we took loads of fans and this annoyed them for some reason. I think it came either the same week ir very close to a fixture where they had about 30 fans so they've tried to build a story of us either exaggerating the numbers or mentioning it too often to deflect attention. Neither of which is true.

God knows why. Truly a different species.

Parts of London I can only guess. Maybe he thinks other than that dyed in the wool through the ages rivalry with Chelsea that everyone else in London has them as a second team.

Citeh are financially doped by reputation laundering murderous despots. The entire world was still supporting them ahead of Liverpool.

The only people who like them are the likes of jimmy Saville and Margaret Thatcher.

"Let's be honest - if we make the final - it will be very much like the Super Bowl just past -

All of the USA was cheering for the Eagles out side of the New England area and Dallas, TX and parts of New York and Washington.

The whole world will be cheering for Liverpool apart from Madrid/Munich, Everton Supporters in Liverpool, Lille, Manchester, and parts of London."

You'd think even the most deluded of Liverpool fans would realise that most of Turin might not be backing them.
Change parts of London to all of it that Manchester and half of Liverpool would account for a large % of footy fans in the UK good maths derps. They are less popular than the pats are easily.

There is no way those 3 tubs of lard will fit on the same stage

Met up with a couple of RS to play golf. I grew up in a time when both sides had good/great sides (them more cinsistently than us obviously). But we were always competitive and they hated playing us for fear of losing.
Anyway, one was still holding back and cautiously optmistic about advancing to the CL final. The other was bullish. Confident of scoring a couple of goals at Roma. Sorted his travel plans for Kiev already. Not bothered about coming back for the homecoming as he's seen it all before and will stay out for a day or two after the final partying out there. No fear of Bayern or Madrid. I could go on.....

Absolute confidence in winning it.

The only good thing was me and my fellow blue smashed then 5&4 in the golf. Smalltime I know, but it temporarily knocked him down a peg.
