If any decent European team Liverpool had faced since the round of 16 had set up and fought like a terrible Stoke team then we'd have been saved this possible nightmare next month. They really have benefitted from decent teams being stupid when playing them in the CL.

Their behaviour at the 2007 CL final in Athens should never be forgotten. Snatching tickets out of the hands of fellow reds (don't matter lid, dey were Wools) and others smashing their way into the stadium. Even UEFA publicly branded them the 'worst fans in Europe' following that game and of course you then got phony outrage from the Echo over it and then Liverpool fans blamed UEFA for not giving them enough tickets.
