@davek Come on mate, there's definitely a post or two from you predicting a City walloping for them.

Just predict a win for the mutants so we can all rest easy, or don't go all in on them losing it.

Can't believe it's come to this, last half hour of that has given me hope, they can be got at, I've never been Madrids biggest fan if they make a balls of this I'll never forgive them.

Honestly, congratulations to them. They've deserved it - they've went out and executed a game plan and haven't fluked their way through or relied on dodgy decisions.

I don't wish them luck for the final of course, but I begrudgingly accept that they totally deserve to be in it.

It is to an extent but remember Rogers being taught an absolute lesson in Europe? There weren't many famous tales for them to tell that year.

The fans have got to be given a reason to believe. Like that night we had against Fiorentina and the crowd was electric. I know we didn't win but everyone thought we could and the stadium rocked as a consequence. It is little wonder that Goodison is morgue given the current set up we have now.
 
I Am not saying they don’t have a chance, cos of course they do, but I wouldn’t want any other team playing them, a team ready to make history with Three in a row. A team better in virtually every single aspect.

Let’s be honest we are all worried about them winning it but that’s cos we know what they can be like, but when you put it into context, they are seriously up against it now. I have fancied them to win every single knock out stage, including the City game, but this is dining at the top table now. These are a serious European monster Real Madrid. If you could choose one side on the planet they had to face in the final, you would handpick Real Madrid: they have now reached three finals in a row (winning the previous two), it’s their third final in four years (they won that one too), in fact since the European Cup became the Champions League, Real Madrid have won every single final they have contested.

That’s before you even look at the players, Real Madrid have winners all over the shop, world class players who have seen it all, and done it all before, Kroos, Modric, Marcelo, Isco, Bale, their whole squad is full of winners. And of course, they have one of the best players in the history of the sport, arguably the greatest “big game player” of all time, Ronaldo. For all the stick Real have got the last few games, let’s not forget they have beated PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich, all away from home, this calendar year alone.

He did, but he also almost won them the league. His own ego destroyed that. They don’t win a pot but every year think they will, it’s a different mentality.

We’re the people’s club, as long as we’re in the PL some our fans are happy

I did say City would win. I also said Liverpool had a chance though.

The only definitive thing I've said on that lot being beaten is that if they faced Barca, Madrid or Bayern they'd be done for. And now they finally do and my prediction has the chance to be born out at last...and will stand up.

I get that we have got some happy clappers following us (they have creaked out the woodwork this week) but in my life time they have always had a better team and more of a reason to believe they would win things.

Just look at our squad, there is no way we could expect anything from them. Gang of mercenaries with no care for the club. We could demand they win us a trophy for the next decade but we would just look like divies because regardless of what we think as a set of supporters our team is a load of crap.

Here's hoping mate. Birthday today so I'm hoping they get dry bummed in the final to actually make it a blessing in disguise

I'm moving to Madrid in September so I am hoping for the right result otherwise I will hate the place before I have set foot off the plane.
