You saying he only deserved a 3 game ban mate?

Nah, I'm saying I'd rather he just missed a few games and there wasn't all the uproar than this whole 8 game ban and massive appeal process and outcry. It just takes the spotlight off the footy.

So you dont agreee with the 8 game ban?

I'm not saying I don't agree with the verdict, what I mean is I'd rather we had a 3/4 game ban and just let it happen than have this long ban and appeal process, even if it gets overturned, because it's just becoming a sideshow.

You'd rather a 3/4 game ban for racism? You hope the appeal reduces the ban?

I hope the appeal reduces the ban obviously because we've got a better chance of doing something with him back in the side, but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't.

So what your saying is that you want the racist back in the team as quickly as possible? You'd sacrifice your morals to allow him back as soon as possible to ensure Liverpool finish higher up the league? What does it say when you are so reliant on 1 player?

There's a part of me that thinks Liverpool are taking advantage of this whole situation and getting right behind Suarez to try and keep him at the club for as long as possible.

There's no justifying him abusing Evra if he did, but one isolated incident doesn't make him racist. Wanting him back in the team isn't condoning what he did; if he does it again there's no way back for him, but if he was genuinely a racist I don't think I'd support him at all.

He's a racist, he made a racist remark to someone, if I call someone a racist name then I'm a racist, the fact that it's during a heated exchange on a football pitch makes it no different

so you wouldn't find another excuse ?
like saying the other day that if he's guilty.... then saying what you are saying now.

you won't be any less a Red for sticking up for what is right.

Say if I have a gay mate who I've known is gay for years and I have a falling out with him and call him a queer when we're arguing, that doesn't make me a homophobe because I'm using his the fact that he's gay to wind him up in an argument rather than having genuine qualms or issues with his sexuality. I think what Suarez said was wrong, but I wouldn't cast him off as a racist because of it.

Are you trying to tell us something, is like one of those 'I've got a friend whose gay' things but it's really you. It's ok lad we welcome everyone here, dont be afraid
