Honestly don't believe he has the mental strength to manage us , we'd destroy him inside 18 months, tops.
The Burnley fiasco amply illustrates his lack of backbone.
He's better left in his comfort zone giving it the big one for all the little southern Tory boys.

I wouldn't mind Howe at all and would prefer him over Silva or Dyche. In fact the comparison to Dyche is interesting since they have both coached exactly three full seasons each in the prem.

Howe: 34W-30D-50L 145 GF 195 GA -50 GD
Dyche: 32W-31D-51L 103 GF 147 GA -44 GD

My concerns with Howe would be:
- His teams seem to be somewhat suspect defensively (although I'd rather watch a bunch of 2-2's than 0-0's)
- While consistent, Bournemouth haven't really progressed that much (42, 46, 44 points respectively)

I personally think this is better than Dyche's record however. After a very strong start this year, Burnley did fade. Also, 54 points with a -3 GD would only have been good enough for 8th, 9th, 10th, 9th, 8th, 8th, 8th, 9th. Its not since Fulham made it into Europe with 53 points in 2008/09 that so few points has meant Europe.

Anyway....this is the Howe thread and my point is of him, Dyche, or Silva, I'd have Howe.

So you expect him to have taken Bournemouth to top 6, top 4, perhaps? With the Championship set-up they have there?

Given the kind of criteria you seek to apply, both Catterick & Kendall would never have got near the Everton Manager's job...
I don’t expect him to do anything mat, i’m Just saying finishing 12th doesn’t make me think he’s boss, it’s an opinion that’s all.

Both managers have worked miracles with minimal resources.

Howe has built a team without relying on star players. And he has had to overcome a shocking injury list this season. Bournemouth still finished in mid-table - 5 points behind Everton - admittedly in a very poor league.

Dyche has had to sell and replace some important players, including; Austin (sold to pay the electricity bill), Ings, Trippier, Keane and Gray. And they lost Heaton to injury this season. They finished seventh - 5 points ahead of Everton - again admittedly in a very poor league.

This is the reality...despite what he has achieved at Bournemouth

No mate, Lano's supports Everton.. I don't think he's expecting anything off of Howe...
