Egypt Shark Attack

This lady does some amazing work with Great Whites and Tigers.

There was a few photos of her and a massive great white a year or two back and everyone was shouting fake until the video was released.

I've just watched her remove some line from a hook in a very large tiger sharks mouth. That lady has some minerals!

Amazing thing to do, but wouldn't surprise me if she met the same demise that Steve Irwin and the fella who used to live with bears did.

Whilst her work is admirable, going in amongst these predators in their natural habitat is dangerous and to think they will treat you as one of their own is very risky.

Hubris at it's finest.

She'd be in more danger if she walked into The Blob Shop on a Saturday early evening mate.

She doesn't think that at all.

She's very aware of the risk taken and goes to great lengths to minimise those risks. Her and her partner observe for quite some time before getting into the water, if the fish look excited in anyway they swerve it.

They also swim in a very 'graceful' manner, no fast or erratic kicks that could agitate the sharks.

They may very well meet a grissly death one day, but it won't be down to complacency thinking "we're safe, these sharks know us."

As I said it is very admirable what they do, but she even says in that video you first posted that the other sharks are respectful whilst she is around the shark with the hook in its mouth.

This is what I'm alluding to, she doesn't know what the other sharks are thinking and for me, that's the biggest danger around what she does.
