At times like this theres only one thing to have in your minds...

...what would the greatest living American Evertonian say?

Not a very ambitious mentality tbh.

If you come here you know you're going to get an opportunity to earn the starting centre forward spot. A good player with a good mentality will back themselves to do it.

If he was genuinely 100% fit (I know, I know...), and Dyche goes with one number 9, then I think Dyche starts Calvert-Lewin ahead of a Toure/Iheanacho etc.

The thing is, as we all know - we can't rely on Calvert-Lewin and have to almost act as though he doesn't exist but I've often wondered if Calvert-Lewin has inadvertently contributed to our issues the last few seasons because the club/fanbase naively thinking he can stay fit and perhaps some strikers have also thought they'd play second fiddle.

Game time/exposure is massive to players and wherever Toure goes he'll be thinking he needs to be starting - if Hojlund remained at Atalanta, and they could still afford to buy Toure then I wouldn't be surprised if he give them a miss.

All comes down to the temperament/mentality of the player I guess.

Romano hasn't left his mum's basement for years, I reckon big Al takes him down. 💪
Nah. Alan myers is like an arl fella with dementia hanging around the club because it's all he can remember. He probably still sits outside bellfield on transfer deadline day.

Romano and myers going at it on twitter is like watching Mike Tyson having a scrap with Steven hawking.

Anyone thought he would come here over Atalanta are sheer bonkers, we are a crisis club right now with a basket case leadership and not a pot to pee in.

And in true Evertonian style “ Mate in Spain told he he isn’t that good anyways” which is actually true…

Does their bid for Toure depend on the sale of Hojland, as Man Utd seem to be refusing to pay what Atalanta want for him and there is quite a gap between both clubs valuations of the player.
