Transfer Rumour El Billal Toure

Watching the “welcome to AC Milan” YouTube highlight reel, I’m getting Maupay, Kean, Rondon vibes… even Niasse had tighter hold up control and passing accuracy.

Going by “youtube”, I’d rather Piroe out of the two especially if they are looking for £30m and upwards for this lad which there’s no hope in hell we can afford.

Obviously rumours but surely our board would have learnt through the copious errors in recruitment over the last twenty odd years of the type of players we need to avoid? Once again another reason the clowns who are currently custodians need to be jettisoned.

Does this make you feel any better? Looks a clear talent. Just the injury profile is a slight worry

Its literally one of the main things in your post about a youtube video:

I want most of his video to be of him scoring goals not holding the ball up

Youre posting a complaint about a teenagers youtube video.
Fair enough I may written that part poorly but it is more a passing comment. If a video exists out there of him scoring lots of goals then great but from what I've seen there isn't which given the nature of media nowadays is a pretty good barometer that he isn't a massive goal scorer. As I've just said on another post I want (if I'm spending £40m on him) for him to be a goal scorer not a hold up man. Perfectly happy to pay £10-15m for him but at £40m once again we're going down the route of overpaying.

I am naturally very wary of spending this kind of money on any player these days. We've got it wrong too many times, and we can't get it wrong again on 30m plus signings.

While I totally understand, he is young and will have resale value. If anything we should have been signing more players like him rather than fees of around 20 mil or more for older players.

If true and a big IF it goes a long the line to invest big in players that will have a decent resale value if successful.

Onana was highly rated and seen as a bit of a coup and we’re now talking about him possibly going for £60m plus. Decent profit for only a year with us.
And hardly a stand out player for us,some clubs have more money than sense. If we had it to spend and he was with another club would you pay £60m for him based on his last season?

They're are virtually the same player, just one is a few years older and runs into a few more blind alleys but would cost 40 million less.
Traore is all baby oil no substance, this lad has the potential for much more so no they aren’t the same player
