Surely he can't be on that high a salary ( I know you're prob right ) But he's never exactly been a first choice if it wasn't for options available.
we've even nearly let him go a few times now. And I thought we only changed our minds at the last min when his last contract was nearly up.

I mean what can we really of offered him !!

Looks like he is someone who likes to get his head up and provide an assist or two...well as much as a highlight reel of all their best bits can show anyhow. Perhaps the other 99% he runs into a blind alley and stubs his foot into the ground rather than hitting the ball when taking a shot...🤷‍♂️

Normally this would make sense. Especially given players like Nathan Collins are moving for 20mil+. But Holgate is just such mega crap I doubt we could get more than 5mil, and that’s probably being generous. Why would anyone want to pay him?
 

Done the usual and watched YouTube video of this lad. He looks like he can hold a ball up and bring others into play alright but at £40m if that's what's being touted I want most of his video to be of him scoring goals not holding the ball up. £10-15m maybe but not at the price being quoted. We're defo having our Keck's pulled down at that price.

No as usual you decide to make my mind up for me along with lots of others . Have a read at my post properly and you'll see I don't want him at £40m if he's a striker? as I like my strikers (especially at £40m) to be able to score goals or is that a bit too far fetched?

If you're a grown man who pays tax and national insurance and judges players off the back of videos made by kids in they're bedroom,you should absolutely ashamed of yourself.

--Youre posting a complaint about a teenagers youtube video.

Thanks for that but where else can I make a judgement off? And the video made by a teenager? How does that make it any less of a source for information? I assume you have scouted the guy and watched 10 or 15 of his matches. I would suggest that with an attitude like that you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. Oh and by the way have a proper read of my post it might help you to read it before you decide to jump on a bandwagon. If you're ok to spend £40m of an already limited budget on a bloke that can hold a ball up but doesn't score many goals then fine. I'm not given we haven't got the proverbial pot to piss in.
