Finally got round to listening to Bonobo's Glastonbury set. His live performances are of such a high standard, and I'm enjoying the more upbeat side to his recent productions. Some of his songs wouldn't sound out of place in a deep house set. His early stuff was quite mellow in comparrison, and he seems to be taking a similar path to Four Tet in that regard.
I've noticed Bonobo is headlining The Warehouse Project in August with a live show, with Caribou also headlining. That's such a ridiculous line-up. I wish I could go to that, but I really can't be arsed these days, and my ears are a bit buggered anyway.

i love his Animal Spirits, big love-letter to the kosmische Musik of the West-German 70's scene (aka krautrock):
very eclectic! Throbbing Gristle, Steve Roach and loads i've never heard of. Will listen properly later, skipped through for a taste, reminds me a bit of the glitchy perfection of this 20-year old leftfield mix:

probably my favourite london club, that or when The End was around. i went a few times in the first month or so of opening, and the place was a right (great) mess. thought it had no chance of staying open but it did and i went just before covid and it was more or less as good, the music was just a but quieter lol
