well in on being so prolific! neat track selection, your own mix at around 15:00 is nice, man...lush paddy synths.

i'm planning a supernerdy top 100 edm tracks ever on me youtube. gonna upload 10 at a time, playing them in real-time cd or vinyl, countdown style.

disclaimer: edm as in electronic dance music (techno, dnb, trance etc)...not EDM that poppy american subgenre.

Things are really picking up on the production front at the moment, 2 original tracks and 2 remixes just signed to a couple of well known trance labels recently that should release within the next 6-12 months and in talks with a couple of others on a smaller indie label (more of a passion project that one)
So I thought I'd step up the DJ'ing a bit in case I get any offers. Not something I'm going to focus on or anything, would be just nice to say yes if I got the offer!

Upgraded to these recently as well:

Pioneer & Rekordbox are the industry standard for the most part, so helps me get stuff set up beforehand.

Not sure I could put my all time favs in any type of functioning order - I'm too indecisive! lol

So.... picked up that new Orbital anniversary pack, 30 Something yesterday. Giving CD 1 a listen this morning.

Hmm, its ok. There's a couple of new tracks that are something and nothing, then I think they've re-recorded a batch of classics to bring them into line with the live versions. Unfortunately for the most part they stick far too close to the originals to really set them apart, and the new flourishes sometimes have a little too much of the slightly irritating, clunky EDM sort of sound that has crept into their work recently. I think overall though its a bit of a missed opportunity to revisit some of their more obscure early tracks and bring them up to date.

Belfast, Halcyon and The Box are nice enough mind, and the disc concludes with some of the first remixes by other artists that continues on the second CD and they're quite promising, the rework of 'Are We Here?' is absolutely lovely.

You might find this one useful @LostLegend :

Absolutely immense this.

Not usually one to jump on bandwagons with flavor of the month DJ's/Producers, but he's a really talented guy.
A set of his own tunes, some semi-live performance stuff in there and the atmosphere looks amazing!

Watched this yesterday. He’s a belter live. He’s done a few lockdown live sets on his YouTube in his flat (I think) which are amazing.

Second CD is definitely more interesting, highlights include Octave One's remix of Chime which sounds like it could have been part of remix 12" at the time, Jon Hopkins' mix of Halcyon and, unsurprisingly, David Holmes' sublime rework of Belfast.

Overall its a decent package but not an essential one.
