I think the 1 Derby away game is a strange barometer to judge someone’s ability. I’ve seen Lukaku do less in the aforementioned fixture. If he get gets a couple of chances on goal newe keep the game tight tomorrow he may just turn out to be a match winner. I might sound a bit optimistic but I don’t think Leeds are great in defence.
"OK Ellis, we're going to give you Chelsea and Liverpool away, you're going to play up front on your own, we won't give you any support or create any chances for you, and the entire fanbase will judge you on your performances. Good luck, lad."

I don't see any point in knocking the lad it isn't like we have any choice .
At least he is focal point for our attack maybe we could try passing the ball to him ridiculous as that may sound

He’s not a target man, that’s not his main asset, but that’s how he was used on Monday night. He played in a front 2 at Sunderland. I’d play him again today with Iwobi or Gray just off him. We know he can score in the Championship so he’s worth sticking with in case that’s where we’re playing next season.

I think he will start today but it's in front of the home crowd today so I think you might see a bit more from him.

I don't, it's just not his game. He's a finisher and that's it. Even for the youth side he did zero all game but slotted when given a chance. He's a ghost and unless we create chances for him it's playing with 10 men sadly (but so is Maupay).

Poor lad was having a perfectly nice time at Sunderland, gets recalled for the bench, gets put in for an impossible job in an away derby then gets dropped again for a player who’s done nothing all season.
Nothing apart from scored the winner from nothing to win us a game v West Ham. That got us 3 points from our total of 18.

Hasn't been great, but saying he's done nothing is naive.

Also, when he has played he's been thrown into a single striker role, with the team set up to play for Dom. He's not a great player, but we didn't play to his strengths.
