I never said only Simms could score that goal. I said that Dom most of the time wouldn't have scored it. Far cry from elevating the lad to legendary status. Only seen him play twice and the first time he looked completely lost. Needs a run of games to determine what he has got in him even if it is by just coming on from the bench.

It was a great goal, I just dont see why people have to use it as a stick to beat another Everton player with.

Simms is now a better striker than DCL based off this forum in the last 12 hours. Amazing.

Time for a little caution in my opinion. The boy done absolutely brilliant getting the goal last night but it’s too early to say he’ll be our saviour this season. He wasn’t great starting against Liverpool. Maybe off the bench is the answer.
