I dont' recall Dom scoring from that far out in his career.

I think Calvert Lewin scored a similar one against Spurs at Goodison a couple of years ago.

Gray is doing an excellent job because he has real pace and is working hard.

The best solution is Dom coming back but if Simms can keep up his form when he does come on then that's great.

Nice one Ellis. Don’t think he’ll end up a Prem player but that’s not to say he isn’t the best option for us right now. Dominic Calvert-Lewin would never have scored that.

I would agree, if we did not have the worst forward line in the league. Gray and DCL dont score.

Yes and a better finish from DCL thought Kepa should of done better

It’s reality Monday now the euphoria of his great goal has subsided. And it was a great goal, those saying the keeper some how made a mistake underestimate the power he generates in his shot, it was a typical Simms goal he’s done it so many times at all levels. But he’s still not the finished product yet, even at 22 he’s gradually improving each season. I don’t think he’s a regular starter yet, but he needs game time to improve , 25-30 minutes off the bench would be ideal for him.
