It’s a risky move for me to be honest. Lots of ways this could go wrong, gutter press will be after him from day 1 and I wonder how the players will take to his strict approach. It is certainly a bold move though, very un-FA like to not take the easy option.

Always feel like the England manager should be English and that should be the way for all major nations.

It’s a terrible reflection on the game here that we continue to go for foreign managers.

Why just the major nations mate? Seems an arbitrary place to draw the line.
