wrote this in the other thread as i aint bee on for a while and missed all this world cup thread thingy!
how can you work on postioning, runs on the break ect..... naming yor team 2 hors before a game!
and defo set piecies when you dont know whos playing!!!
its ok if you have a team all season becouse every player in every position will get it in time!! but in a tourney that is the one thing you aint got is time!
pick your ******* team and work with them all week! show them the other teams weakneses show them how to exploite there spaces ect...
but there is no way you can do this with no one knoiwing whos playing!

I missed the USA v Slovenia game , which was a cracker, due to being in work. But , I manage to watch that shower tonight. I'm off work next Wednesday , waiting for the Gas man to service the boiler. I hope he comes at 3 o'clock

What a load of rubbish. Hoofball has a chance with a battering ram like Drogba up front. England have no Drogba, the closest there is is Kevin Davies. And he is not in SA.
Work the flanks, it is the reason Milner, Wright Phillips, Lennon, Cole are there.
The entire side is playing being ruled by fear, not wanting to make a mistake, not wanting to be a national laughing stock. No one is prepared to take a punt and try something creative, every ball goes sideways or backwards and then the HOOF up front.
And the FA were busting their nuts to keep Capello after the WC. Insult to injury.

Saying the entire hoof style that was so evident tonight as it was on saturday is not playing to the strengths of the squad picked.
Would a side get panned by spectators for trying to play the counter attacking game without any players with pace?
Why set a side up to play a game down the flanks when the squad has only midgets in it?
This side is not being set up to play to its strengths. Injury has forced Capellos hand so far, it is on him to make the leap of faith - if he can't or wont, how can he expect any of his squad to?

As soon as you get your coaching tactics right, England will be a force to be reckoned with. Never meant to bring England down from my part. In fact, I'd love England to do (reasonably) well. Second place behind Holland would do perfectly.

Something not right? Ok its this mate:
1. Players shagging other players birds
2. Players shagging other birds and getting themselves in the papers for the wrong reasons
3. Players getting injured yet still getting the call to play for their country
4. Nobody has a ******* clue who is the no.1 keeper
5. Players being played constantly out of position
6. Players being played even though they are not considered for their clubs
7. Players not being told 2 hours before who is playing so they can't work together on set pieces
8. To much shoe horning going on
9. Media being total ******s

Like I said before the John Terry factor started all this crap and it's killed the unity. Everything looks untidy about the squad the only way it changes is if Capello rings the changes and gets the dead wood out of the side no matter what their pedigree is. No use naming names it's all on display for all to see.
