I've been hearing whinging about pitches for a long time, but the fact is, it's the same for both sides. Simple as that.

If the state of the pitch influences the result, it will be because it favours the side that wins the toss.

it's irrelevant anyway. home advantage/local conditions - call it whatever you want.

it's impossible for us to produce lightining quick rock hard pitches like they can in australia - which i presume is what they wanted.

would have fancied today, started to be really sunny today, thought the forecast was rain all day.

by would have fancied today i meant i would have liked to have gone, saw £45 for a ticket and thought feck off!

considering it'll last the same time as a football match, that's pretty awful pricing imo. not sold out unsurprisingly, i think it included the women's match as well possibly.

why nto 3 T20's though? so glad the ODI series is 5 not 7 games.

interesting to keep an eye on. do umpires watch out for foot no balls more in T20 cricket than in tests? you'd expect they do, but why?

i think experience shows that shane watson should not be looking baffled about LBW decisions. he's an idiot of the highest order. slow start from england.

hmm maxwell's action. that is very odd. didn't realise it looking that odd in the IPL, can you be sure he's not throwing it? very very round arm.
