If your gonna do all American sports legends, we'd kick ass.

Is that cos your all super athletes who are part human part machine? like Universal Soldier? You would have loved this American joker who was here couple of years back. He had some proper mad theory that Everton could sign like a dozen 16 year old super athletes who could jump higher than anyone, run faster than anyone and have immense strength - but it didn't matter that they couldn't play football.

Crazy fool.

They probably could play football.. Soccer on the other hand, perhaps not..

I don't know. Marino would be a [Poor language removed] keeper. Best release ever, but not very quick afoot. Keepers have to have better feet than that.

Magic would have been be the wizard keeper. Any position on the court, any position on the pitch, for him. I see him as the commanding keeper of your dreams, especially with that kind of size. Deion Sanders on the wing, Barry Sanders showing Messi how it's done in the middle - with pace like Walcott as a plus. Wow.

If you're mixing sports, I've long said that Rooney is the second coming of Pete Rose, BTW. It's the same guy. Rose played baseball exactly like Rooney plays football. It's the same guy. Go look up Pete Rose, Ray Fosse, and the All-Star Game. All out - all the time.

PGHEverton.

He got a lot of stick from everyone, including the few Americans we had on here at the time.

We need Danny to dig that old thread up:

1) For laughs

2) To show just how far this forum has come.

Was in Vegas last year walking through Caesar's and around the corner comes Pete Rose. The guy was thick as a barrel but not fat. I can only imagine him in his playing days.

For the record, i really hope you do a report for every England game Ghost.

3-1 England, i think England are due a good game, they haven't been that great in recent games, but i think Capello has got them focused. England to go 3 up and people in Kent and Essex will start throwing street parties and town squares in Bournemouth and Richmond are full of red and white, before a late USA goal through Dempsey which will make some hillbilly in Ohio pleased

You clearly have never been to southeastern Ohio. It's like "Deliverance" without the rural charm.
