Green screwed up, no question. The minuimum you expect from a GK is concentration. I dont think it was nerves. He looks like he just doesn't expect a shot from Dempsey and fails to position himself. Atrocious. Still, there's bigger fish to fry than Green in that "performance".

To be fair mate. In my drunken stuper last night I vaguely remember saying USA did good. Especially our boys (still count donovan as our boy!). Please don't pin all England fans under one roof! Although I am seething. That bit was right!

Also sore losers? We didn't lose!

couple of point I wanna make...

1. WTF did Cappello start with Milner? He's been suffering from a virus all week according to my source (Mamazulu ekebekia)..Damn I just gave his name away there!!

He looked off the pace, and that's why he picked up the booking (Milner not Mamazulu) - The utter monster!

2. Cappello finally decides to replace Milner with SWP.....WTF!!!! ....He's complete pony, where was our fave pinky & perky voiced Joe Cole...surely he would have added something different down the left as opposed to SWP who either gave the ball away or ran it into touch..the complete belter.

3. Why oh why did he start the game with a complete crock at centre-half...everyone knew he wouldn't stand-up to it...his knees are made of glass

I'm not gonna go on about Rob Green, as that was something that could never be envisaged, it was just one of those England moments...but we missed the boat to win this game by not having Joe Cole playing down the left...he would have made the difference...

Fair play to the good ol U S of A though...especially Oneywu - He had a stormer, and Our Tim, who showed us what a Goalkeeper should be like - Authoritive, confident, and in control of his back four.

Hopefully this stops the ridiculous hype around James Milner now, I like the lad, he's a decent player, but he's far from the player he's made out to be. Capello's golden boy, the future of English football, people even claiming he should replace Cole at left back etc.

That maybe the case Goat, but he did things that Bent, Defoe, Crouch, etc couldn't do in an England shirt.

Bring in Joe Hart, not having any of this "Oh we don't want to hurt Green's confidence even further". Sod his confidence, it is all about England winning, get Joe Hart in. His team actually finished in the top half of the table....
