England's Worst Player at Euro 2016

You could pick any one of the team that played Iceland but Hart stands head and shoulders above as the worst player for me. He has been stealing a living for years as an alleged great goalkeeper. He couldn't hold a candle to most of the England keepers I can recall from the late 70s onwards.
A complete charlatan and that's being quite kind to him!

I see what you did there!!

#BlameBarkley

Sterling was truly abysmal but due to Kane taking some of the worst set plays on top of his all round gashness, he gets my vote.

I agree about Kane's set plays but I would vote for £50m Sterling.

In fairness,Kane has had a couple of good seasons for Spurs. He was just totally out of sorts for England.

Sterling on the other hand would struggle to keep his place in a Division Two side.He is the most over hyped player I have ever seen, thanks mainly to the RS media bigging him up at every opportunity in order to get an ridiculous transfer fee for him.

And moneybags City actually fell for it!

I honestly believe McGeedy is a better winger!

In his defense he should have never had that job. Rooney? Wilshire? 50M Winger? None of these people can take free kicks?

I don't think Woy did a bad job in qualifiers, but then he panicked trying to shoehorn too many players in who were lousy (Cahill, Sterling), left good ones off the bench (Vardy, Rashford) or not close to being ready (Wilshire). If you are going to dominate possession why not stones? If you have 0 players who can take a free kick why not Barkley?

wilshere was poor... having said that anyone would be poor with a whole 3 mins of premier league action beforehand.

what on earth was woy thinking taking him and henderson

these euro's are meant to be for the elite players of europe who are at the top of their games. both them players would struggle when fully fit nevermind being 5% fit.

barkley should havce played instead of alli in the last game. it was obv alli was lacking and ross hadnt had THAT bad a year, considering the other midfielders we had to chose from.

p1ss poor managment from the top down.

He was by no means the worst. But listening to pundits call out Kyle Walker as the best right back in the tournament after two games was a complete joke. In the game against Slovakia he was mentioned twice in the opening 20 mins as if to suggest him being rested was such a big loss. It was laughable.

I enjoyed watching the mythical Spurs core crumble. I was disappointed with Alli as I think he underperformed and probably was up there with the worst. But Hart wins it by a distance...

Harry Kane.

Poor set piece taking, offered no attacking threat and pretty much was invisible for most of each game.

Granted it was Roy's fault but Kane not being there would not have made a slight difference.

If Barkley had played every game and been as poor as Delle Alli, he would have got annihilated in the press.
