Entry requirements EFC v. Soton

The LF part is worded as 'strongly encouraged' because ultimately you do not need to take a test if you've got a COVID Pass (Doubled Vaccination).

Also I've previously said, right now legally it's unenforceable to demand a pass as is merely a tool to help ensure high risk settings are as COVID safe as possible.

The club could make it mandatory as per their terms of entry but that isn't going to happen. Yet, to reduce the risk of hold-up, it's best to have one.
Yeah, judging by the wording of those FAQ’s, I strongly assume that anyone who is actually checked and that cannot prove whether they are vaccinated or negative, will still be allowed into the ground

Pretty sure that’s a no , i personally don’t think it’ll be needed but could be worth getting the GP letter now or putting it in motion in case it is required come September.

As @dockroad mentioned, the official line is no if his status is actually checked. You can print out a COVID pass, but that's a ball ache itself.

If you want a letter from his GP, go to: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/

Cheers fellas, I'm going to see if I can set it up on his phone for him but will do this if not.

If you can install the app on his phone - it takes about five minutes to setup at most - then it will provide a COVID pass on the screen that lasts 48 hours.

While you can add it to the wallet on a phone, the easiest option would be to screen shot it so it's in the camera roll to simply show. That's my plan as a backup.

The other issue with the app is that unless you set it to be remembered on a device it asks for a security code that's sent by text.

I suspect this'll happen to a lot of people on Saturday.

yeah

I've got it on mine already.

If the United away game is anything to go by it will be business as usual. Think I seen 2 people with a mask on in the away end.

Probably me if near e31 but gave up at half time with mask,

No measures really at old Trafford on Saturday, Stewards etc had masks that was about it.

Was at the NEC on Sunday before, it will be madness if they are checking everyone, cant see it happening.

And vaccine certificate only valid for 24hr period as is LFT, so factor that in.

I was surprised really, thought there would be organised queues but it was just every man for themselves especially on the concourse.

Thought it was for 48hrs on the NHS site, but once downloaded or printed off it lasts for 30 days.

There is no expiry date on the Covid Pass letter you get from the NHS. I t just confirms you have been double jabbed.

What are they even still protesting? Everywhere is open now
They're protesting against the push to get people vaccinated who haven't yet had theirs...because the BBC are in league with Bill Gates and the Bilderberg Group to plant chips in them to control them.
