Entry requirements EFC v. Soton

Ye maybe, another harsh winter awaits with these reckless loons pulling the strings.
It's a knocker, unfortunately.

Regardless of that scum, I expect this club to limit entry when the time comes. Asking for evidence of jabs or a negative test is helpful, but that will be useless by the autumn.

Incidentally, am I reading right that season ticket holders only get their money back as store credit when selling through the new system? (I'm sure this has already been discussed to death, but I've only now thought to read the T&Cs.)

I'd just take a refund if they offered it.

Yeah, no, not going.

It's not that I necessarily disagree with those procedures, it's just that it won't be actually fun to follow them so I'm not spending money on it.

Aye, you'll get a credit for next season or perhaps for cup games is the way I read it. If you don't renew the year later, you may be abe to argue for a refund.

When you resell your ticket through the club, all other available non-ST seats have to be sold first is how I read it although it may not mean obstructed views.

If only they'd put as much time and effort into transfers as they did keeping petty amounts of money out of fans' pockets.

proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of the match
Why don't they just keep giving everyone a test if they're immune for 48 hours after getting one done :hayee:

Masks recommended but NOT compulsory.

I will not be wearing one
The wording is 'expected and recommended', which in legal-jargon is the club believe you should wear one but ultimately it's legally unenforceable.

The only caveat of this is that as part of their rules of entry the club could make it a requirement, but that would be an absolute minefield in many senses.

While fans may be advised/asked to put a mask on, I'd be very surprised if there's any form of enforcement to actually wear one.

Personally, I'll probably wear one when travelling through the concourse and in the bogs, but at my seat or when having a pint - nah.
