Exactly kind of RW we should go forId love to get bakwa from strasbourg.
He's a 22 year old RW who's big, strong, fast, good at set pieces and can put in a boss cross. Would be ideal for a moyes signing.

Cant wait for the summer refrain to be "Cant be any worse than Harrison/Lindstrom/Nuamah"Can’t be any worse than Harrison / Lindstrom
Ok if you’re playing DCL, but that kind of striker is a dying breed. The target man who stands on the penalty spot and attacks crosses all game is yesterday’s strategy. Most teams play with one striker these days, a striker who plays on the shoulder and gets in behind waiting for through balls often centrally. Some don’t even play with a proper striker at all, “false nine” if you will. If you haven’t got a DCL (which we won’t very soon) then there’s no point having a winger who hogs the touchline and whips balls in to the area for 90 minutes.Just seen this lad plays on the right but is left footed. He'd be cutting in to cross the ball every time... Can we not just find a right footed right winger please?
But we do have DCL, and when he leaves we will have another 9 up there requiring some sort of service. If we did have a pacey right winger to supply DCL some decent crosses, he'd probably be scoring a few more goals this season. Whoever plays up top for we, surely at least need we would need to improve the supply to them, so for me the wide options need to be able to cross a ball without having to cut inside.Ok if you’re playing DCL, but that kind of striker is a dying breed. Yes , despite his size , Beto is better off the shoulder with theough balls, sure DCL would be too, hell what about varying the attack in game with through balls and crosses in the air or on the floor! thinking back when we’re just lumping it up to an isolated DCL was insane.Ok if you’re playing DCL, but that kind of striker is a dying breed. The issue with DCL is that he can only score off crosses, he cannot finish chances on the floor. Having a pacey winger doesn’t change that. Modern wingers need to chip in with goals, not spam crosses all game. I’d much rather they cut inside to flood the box or get a shot off. Look at the best right wingers in the league - all left footed. Building the team, or attempting to, around DCL’s specific strengths is partly why we’re so bad. Slow, set piece depended, not clinical. The game has moved on, that style of football just isn’t how it’s played anymore. No more constant crosses, no more constant long balls. But we do have DCL, and when he leaves we will have another 9 up there requiring some sort of service. 4 - 6 poor,Thats weird he got a fairly high rating in that match of 7.4
The idea would be for Patterson to overlap to get those right footed crosses in.Just seen this lad plays on the right but is left footed. He'd be cutting in to cross the ball every time... Can we not just find a right footed right winger please?
Most of DCL's headed goals came from crosses from full backs such as Lucas DigneBut we do have DCL, and when he leaves we will have another 9 up there requiring some sort of service. This. There are so many examples of it.Need to look at the minutes played, not games. He’s only just turned 21 and is used primarily as impact substitute at Lyon. Very similar to what Elanga was at United funnily enough when most people were equally unimpressed that we were in for him before Forest pipped us. Elanga has been given minutes and is proving to be a very good player who would walk in to our team right now. Always best to wait and see with players this age and not judge them so early in their career. Mbeumo another example. Wasn’t exactly tearing it up for Troyes in Ligue 2 before moving to Brentford.
I get your point, but Harrison is left footed and has to cut in onto his left boot. If we want to add to our attacking options we need someone who can do both, cutting in and also beat a man on the outside and cross. We currently lack the ability to break with pace and put an early ball into a dangerous area. Look at Forest with their big target man. They're thriving of this style of play. Also under Carlo we crossed the ball way more than we have been under Dyche and DCL was a different player. We haven't been playing to DCL's strength under Dyche, we've just been lumping balls to him from deep. If we had the ability to break at pace and put a ball in while the defenders are turned and on the back foot, whoever if playing central for us would have far more chances. I certainly wouldn't want another winger who couldn't cross a ball when required. The issue with DCL is that he can only score off crosses, he cannot finish chances on the floor.
