A lot of comments on twitter from lyon fans that they can't believe their luck in getting that type of fee for this player. We are paying a lot of money for somebody that has done very little during his time in france which is very worrying. He is young though and he is a right winger something we have been crying for for a long time now. Probably paying a premium as he is still a prospect with potential. Problem is we need a player for the now ideally that can be productive from day one.

To be fair if you checked the comments from us lot when Onana left for villa it would probably look similar and the Villa fans seem to love him.

well it was rumoured dyche and thellwell didn’t agree on lots so moyes you’d think wants his choice of players

and we’ve been after him for ages

I reckon Moyes spends far less time on the bog than Dyche and leaves it a considerable amount cleaner

Absolutely mate.

He's very raw but looks to be able to go past people. He may give us what NDiaye does which will help.

I'm not sure he feels a "Moyes player" but it's a bit needs must isn't it?

Us and West Ham were often linked with similar targets in recent years Onana and Kudos for example, It wouldn't surprise me if they agree a fair bit on transfer targets

I suspect Moyes put signings on hold til he run the rule over what is here & what Thelwell had lined up.
It's obvious he likes what he has seen of this lad or we wouldn't be in for him.
