When onana left, most of us thought at the time the fee was probably fair market value...lyon fans can't believe how much they are getting from the players they're looking to offload including nuamah.

Diallo is a year older and nobody was talking about him last year after struggling to make any kind of breakthrough. Delap at Ipswich actually stank at Hull in the Championship scoring only 8 championships goals in 30 odd games and the Hull fans seemed baffled when Ipswich stumped up 20 million for him. A few on here now want Delap here. Nuamah clearly showed talent in Denmark as a teenager and having only just turned 21, already has 12 caps for Ghana and three international goals. The way some on here want to write him off as a poor signing is bonkers. The exact same people would be on here in 12 months saying “why didn’t we go for him” if he went elsewhere and started ripping it up!
I’m not saying he’ll be a good signing btw, only time will tell on that one but at least wait a bit before writing him off ffs.

Looks like Lyon fans have mixed opinions on him. Some think he’s a very bright talent that looked promising last season but has struggled for game time this year, whereas many are critical of him saying he has pace and no idea how to play football and are desperate to sell him over many of their other attackers due to their current financial problems.
What it seems to me is a raw youngster with pace that is able to beat a man and get in behind even if he struggles with other aspects of the game. Not too pleased it’s the same player from the summer and says a lot about thelwell, however I would take him and let him make that right wing position his own as no one else has made any argument it’s theirs in 6 months and we need pace desperately, hopefully he could realise his potential at us and end up similar to ndiaye.

Yep. Looked like he had so much talent at Nordsjaelland. Sometimes moves don’t work out for younger players. Look at Lookman for us.
Aside from very few of the people on this forum who watch a lot of football, most will have no idea what any of our transfer targets outside of the UK are like.
Yet some people form very strong opinions about players before we've even signed them.
Some also seem to have a massive issue paying anything above £20m for a player as though it's still 2010.
We cry out for pace and the minute it looks like we are getting someone with pace, we started moaning not him ! Newsflash if he was the finished article, banging goals in left, right and centre, we wouldn't have a hope in Hell of signing him. We have to try and develop him and we have more chance of developing players in my view with Moyes, more than Dyche anyhow.
Could make a difference with his pace and maybe pull a few defenders off N'diaye. If we were signing just him, but we won't we will sign more, why because the Friedkins won't endanger their investment.
