When onana left, most of us thought at the time the fee was probably fair market value...lyon fans can't believe how much they are getting from the players they're looking to offload including nuamah. To be fair if you checked the comments from us lot when Onana left for villa it would probably look similar and the Villa fans seem to love him.
Never heard or seen him play.
Just checked his season stats.
0 goals. 0 assists..
Welcome to Everton.
We normally cause players to regress. How do you regress from that?
Or, will he be a case of a double negative!?
And we might be buying Nuamah because of the talent he showed in Denmark.Pretty sure we bought N’Diaye because he was excellent in the Championship though.
Quality transfer window this:
"We are crap, we need better players, anytime but Harrison at RW"
Everton: submit bid for young winger to replace Harrison.
"waste of money, we'd be paying too much. His club don't want him, we need better."
Everton miss out on rumoured player to a mid table PL team.
"Another one we've missed. Laughable to miss out on this fella. We need reinforcements immediately"
Yep. Looked like he had so much talent at Nordsjaelland. Sometimes moves don’t work out for younger players. Look at Lookman for us.Looks like Lyon fans have mixed opinions on him. Some think he’s a very bright talent that looked promising last season but has struggled for game time this year, whereas many are critical of him saying he has pace and no idea how to play football and are desperate to sell him over many of their other attackers due to their current financial problems.
What it seems to me is a raw youngster with pace that is able to beat a man and get in behind even if he struggles with other aspects of the game. Not too pleased it’s the same player from the summer and says a lot about thelwell, however I would take him and let him make that right wing position his own as no one else has made any argument it’s theirs in 6 months and we need pace desperately, hopefully he could realise his potential at us and end up similar to ndiaye.
Aside from very few of the people on this forum who watch a lot of football, most will have no idea what any of our transfer targets outside of the UK are like.See also Philogene who everyone was saying was crap and had done nothing at Villa, slow etc. Moves to Ipswich and everyone fumes that a relegation rival has stolen a player from us and strengthened.
Doesn’t sound like someone ready to walk into the first team.
That’s the big problem here surely?
