Player Valuation: £35m
Hopefully Moyes seen him on Kev’s list and crossed him out.
He was a ridiculous signing really especially given his age.I thought Allan was ok. Was a good signing until he got injured and seemed to lose all his pace.
In theory he should have been fine, a player in the Barry mould of never having relied on pace.. positioning and mental speed making up for it....He was a ridiculous signing really especially given his age.
No he was getting walked past here.Would walk into our current squad.
No way he would come if Dyche was still here.According to the French press, he’s crap and not a team player…..

He was 29 and we signed him on a 3 year contract. He was a ridiculous signing really especially given his age.
Yeah for 20m. There was no resale value at all. Throwing 20-30m on players like that is what got us into the mess we are in.He was 29 and we signed him on a 3 year contract.
Apparently the bobble has said he’d be an Everton player now if Dyche hadn’t been sacked. He might of signed but I can’t imagine he’d of got a game.No way he would come if Dyche was still here.
Hopefully Moyes and Baines will be able to fulfill the potential that is surely there if we conclude the transfer successfully.
There was no strategy at all, other than buy players who the chairman, owner, DoF and manager of the day were after, regardless of age or sell on. The strategy was tantamount to a two year old trying to build a house with LegoYeah for 20m. There was no resale value at all. Throwing 20-30m on players like that is what got us into the mess we are in.
He was a good player in his prime, did next to nothing for us though.
So he wanted to play for Dyche...he can't be too clever then can he.Apparently the bobble has said he’d be an Everton player now if Dyche hadn’t been sacked. He might of signed but I can’t imagine he’d of got a game.
Wouldn't surprise me...not sure if moyes is 100% convince on the guy.Apparently the bobble has said he’d be an Everton player now if Dyche hadn’t been sacked. He might of signed but I can’t imagine he’d of got a game.
The only way for us to do it is buy young talent and have good coachingI’m getting tired of always having to drive past the nice dealerships that sell awesome cars and instead shop for players at the seedy snake oil used car lots. It’s been forever where we say we want that lad because he’s awesome. No big flaws. Where do I sign? What we get is a car we’re really nervous about. Lots of prior repairs. Runs slow. Ready for it to crap out every day. You know the moment you drive it off the lot, the salespeople laugh and call us suckers. I’m tired of stop gaps. We need perennial winners.
