His stats before lyon are OK...but that's in very weak competitions. I guess that's why lyon signed him in the first place. Looked a prospect then, but as yet to deliver on the promises.

That's not true. His apology was to nuamah for the way he was treated and to say he still had a future at Lyon.

It seems lyon will replace him with luiz henrique, Brazilian winger that's doing very well. We were also linked with that guy a season or so ago when he was at betis. He would be a much better option and probably cheaper too.

The negativity stems from an overreliance on G/A stats, no one in this thread—myself included— has actually watching him play this season. He’s young and has barely had a chance to start this season. People just enjoy complaining, but if he moves elsewhere and thrives, the same critics will be blaming Thelwell for not 'getting it over the lin' just like they did with Dias, Kudus, Pedro, Gyökeres, and Minteh.
