Man for man, I don't think there's much to choose. In fact, I might even prefer England's squad. They are more of a team though.I think Germany is man for man a better team overall tbh
The worst thing is, if the FA decided to try another foreign manager, he's exactly the type they'd go for.Just imagine if he gets the England job just before he signs here....

Specifically the Italians?
Do you not like them?
I havnt watched much of it tbh, not a fan of the group stages and also not a fan of the best third qualification. Saying that, Im all for football evolving and trying new formats, years ago people didnt want the plays off in EFL etc, look how well that has proved. 100% agree with the burn out, been a long 18months and due to continue right through to next years World Cup. With the venues, again I was happy with a different format but the Covid situation hasnt helped. Please correct me if I am wrong, but Im sure England were due to play at diff venues if they qualified from the group. I think the covid situation changed this, maybe they were due to play in Dublin. The s/f and final were always going to be played at Wembley.Just my opinion but I'm finding this to be the worst international competition I've ever watched. The group stage with 3 teams qualifying from most groups made it a bit of a waste of time for bigger nations who were guaranteed to go through.
The lack of fans, although can't be helped, it just takes away massively from it as a spectacle. The only games with real atmosphere were in Budapest with the sell out stadium.
The standard, it hasn't been terrible in all games, but just watching England and 2 goals from 3 games says it all. The competition has come at a time where players are burnt out and need a rest. Its just another reason there is a total lack of point in this competition happening at this time, it should have just been scrapped.
Lastly and this is the biggest one, the venues. If England get to play nearly all their games at Wembley its a massive advantage and why are certain nations granted privileges. I understand if there was a single home nation like normal it would be the case anyway. But this is meant to be spread fairly between host nations. The whole thing is a farce and if England were to win it, then it would all just be a bit of a damp squib for me.
He's not wrong like. The tournament has lop sided advantages to numerous bigger nations and lacks the 'home nation' tournament feel.
I think it's been a really poor Euros. I know people will disagree but I've not enjoyed it at all.
Was talking to a mate earlier - a big Welsh fan - and he said you cant blame the distance travelled. They had a base in Bacu for about two weeks and well over a week in Rome, and its not as though they travel on easyjet.Think he just needs to admit they were crap and a few more fans wasn't going to help them. There are good reasons Welsh fans weren't allowed en mass to go to these games.
