Nonsense. His tactics and decisions have been pretty much perfect up until the Final. You don’t top your group, win all your knock out games to the Final and don’t conceded a goal from open play by not making good decisions.

He got the management of the Final wrong, and even then England didn’t lose - anything can happen in a penalty shootout.

He was terrible. Blagged the Denmark game. Somehow. Brought Grealish on to get us back in, we scored then takes him off and were under the cosh again and got lucky with a pen. Only game they dominated was Ukraine and that's because they borrowed the Roberto Martinez video on how to defend set pieces.

But yeah he's been great. Bravo.

His decisions haven't been spot on, he's made hard work of every game apart from Ukraine who were the worst team we played and were utterly knackered anyway.

We made Scotland, SCOTLAND, look like a proper useful team. If anything they should have won that one. Denmark, a mediocre side really without Eriksen, it took a horrendous refereeing mistake to get past them. Germany were a shambles and still we struggled.

The media and country have been swept up in this hype, the rest of the world has looked on in disbelief at how highly we rate our manager and our achievements (or really the lack of) this tournament.

Its a shame for the players and the good fans, but truth is we got what we deserved there. Italy were the true stars of this tournament.
