I used to live in Lille for a couple of years - it's a great day/night out.

It's a 45 minute drive from Calais or a 75 minute train from London (Eurostar- direct).
It's also a 50 minute train from Paris CDG Airport (direct) and a 70 minute train from Brussels (direct)

Brand new stadium (open for it's second season), 50,000 seater, retractable roof, awesome place. and they never fill it.

LOSC did the cup/league double a few years ago, but then they lost Eden Hazard, Debuchy, Cabaye, Gervinho and basically the whole team and have been rubbish ever since.
Joe Cole was an emergency loan the summer after because they had noone of quality, Solomon Kalou is their striker these days.

Tough Group, really tough Group. But if we want to win this tournament we need to beat all teams. The worst with this draw is that we probably can't let our best players take much time off since no team in this Group will become an easy opponent.

Watched Wolfsburg in a friendly against Cardiff the other week. They weren't impressive and drew 3-3. Then again, we weren't impressive pre-season either so that's a pretty useless comment! Gotta test ourselves against the better teams sooner or later, the Europa League is a lot more competitive than when we were last in it, but we're also a LOT more boss! COYB
