No, then it goes to Hull.

Hull are DEFINITELY in Europe. It just depends whether they go in as highest-placed qualifier or lowest-placed qualifier.

People seem to think the qualification routes are difficult to understand so get themselves wound in knots.

No - read the uefa rules posted above. If arse finish fifth and win the fa cup they give up the Europa place for fifth and keep the fa cup one as this is the highest Europa place on offer (straight into group, fifth gets a qualifier). Therefore fa cup losers do not get the place, it goes to seventh. Sixth and seventh play qualifiers.

Read the UEFA qualifying regs, for Chrissakes. Hull only gets in as Cup runners-up if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League. If Arsenal finish fifth and win the cup, the runner-up spot is vacated and seventh gets into the Europa League. Sixth is already in the EL by virtue of City's League Cup win.

Whereas you think they're simple but actually find them difficult.

Group Stage: We come 5th, Arsenal win the cup
Play-Off Round: We Come 5th, Hull Win the Cup
3rd Round: We Come 6th.
Simple.
 
Bobby's said he'll strengthen for Europe.

Joel can be europa keeper.

Garbutt/Oviedo as cover for Baines, Alcaraz and Duffy as cover Jags and Distin/Stones, Browning cover for Coleman.

Gibson, Ledson and hopefully a new signing as cover for McCarthy and Barry/Oviedo and another new signing hopefully.

Osman as cover for Barkley and Naismith and hopefully a new face.

Choice of Mirallas, Pienaar, McGeady, Delboy on wings.

Kone, Lukaku (hopefully), Troare (possibly) and hopefully another new face up top.

Youngsters hopefully will get a chance too, not too bad!

The thought of Stones bringing the ball out from the back against the likes of Benfica away makes me a happy bunny
