Sounds good. I reckon I'll go for Lille if I can get the thurs off. Already in London fri-sun after for the NFL, so happy days.

Surprised Everton havent announced anything at all yet, even over the summer, about how they would be looking to allocate tickets for the aways. Given its 4 years since we were in Europe, I would have thought they'd just have to go off last season's aways.

I should be alright I hope, last away I missed was Sporting Lisbon.

SVP - Is it the fantastic market this weekend or the one after - you know, the one where everyone sells anything all over Lille?

Also is the Zoo still going in the park? (Is it still free to park your car in the park!?)

From memory your ground is a big open bowl with only limited undercover - should we bring extra coats?

Hi everybody, I'm from Lille.

The market you are talking about, named "Braderie" is next week, the 6th and 7th.

The zoo is still open and still free. The car park which is next to must not be open because next week there are a lot of merry-go-round at this time of the year, so you have to find an other place to park a car. But if you are talking about the day of the game it will be okay.

We have a new stadium (50 000 sits) and no worry with the rain because the roof can be closed.

That's true yes. I remember watching Swansea-Napoli last season, it was an amazing game. Swansea were not fazed, they took the game to Napoli with good possession football I was shocked at how they stepped up. They would have destroyed Napoli were it not for the fact that their strikers were not good enough. Napoli had Higuain up front and Swansea had Bony and the difference between the two decided the match. Napoli were very clinical. Everton wouldn't have any problems up front though :D

Yeah that game was ace. Also Fulham v Juventus when they won 4-1 at home - that was amazing. And Middlesbrough...I can't remember but didn't they do pretty much the same, 4 goals in the last 10 mins or something?

Europa does throw up some proper cup tie matches and atmospheres. I remember Fiorentina at Goodison and it was a right craic - shame about not getting the third goal though, cos we'd have had Rangers in the semis and then Zenit in the final at Man City...still gutted about that. Chance missed.
