I can see fans being refused entry myself, in Lille a copper picked me out as English straight away, I asked how he knew & his answer was "your face," so any of our pasty faced north face clad ninjas attempting have got no chance.

It always amazes me how often this happens to myself when I'm travelling abroad for work. Especially where I am currently working in Rotterdam, whenever I walk into a shop they literally always greet me in English, no matter what clothes I'm wearing. It's like I've got a massive St. Georges cross tattooed on my forehead (which I haven't by the way)

is it a joke, how many actually went to Atalanta and Split? I'd say even Atalanta wasn't far different to the Lyon allocation at in Croatia less than half the 2,800

we could even be out as good as next Thursday

Iv just spoke to box office and they said no chance will STH even get a sniff of tickets due to credits starting high!

The numbers were estimated to be about 2,200 for Atalanta I think out of an allocation of 4,000. The 1,400 for Split 'sold out', but there was only about 1,000 actually there.

atalanta wasn’t easy to get to and on short notice after the draw which was after 2 qualifiers and Holland in pre season .


People have got 2 months notice for Lyon , the flight day trips are over £100 cheaper and there are numerous pubs and supporters club running cheap travel on coaches . Plus Lyon is easier to get to with flights , ferry , Euro star and tunnel .

It will easily sell out . This is ‘the one’ that the majority will go to like Nuremberg and Lille .

But Lyon is far easier for most fans . The coach option helps a lot of people do it very cheaply .

Not ideal if there are hundreds of fans locked out of the stadium. The stadium is in the middle of absolute nowhere too so there's nowhere to go. It's very very open too like at somewhere like West Ham. It's prime location for trouble.
