New Saints currently 30 points clear in Wales

Time they joined the English pyramid I think
Think the cost implications of leaving Wales to join the English pyramid wouldn't be cost effective!
Prize money every year from Uefa is more worthwhile to them than the prize money from whatever league they would have to start at!

Reading this is too close to comfort...especially the explanation behind their decline and the Ukrainian War / Gazprom connection.
I just read it. Lots of parallels. The Germans are much stricter with debt etc than us. Half the EFL and PL wouldn't have professional licences if we followed their rules.

Came here this morning to post the same article. Frighteningly close parallels. We should all feel a sense of relief that we've not been relegated this season or last.

Reading that article it will be somewhat of a miracle if Everton can come out the right side of everything that has been going on and consider ourselves very fortunate if we can see this dark period through and are playing in the club owned Bramley Moore in the Premier League over the coming seasons

Oh my days, where do I start.

My local polish club played cup final today against Wisla Krakow which is a second tier this days.

We lead until 99th minute (on 98th the ball was in Wisla's final third) and there were 7 minutes added on. Last kick of the game 1-1 and then 1-2 in Extra Time after massive error from our central midfielder.

It would be our first cup in the club's history.

Even Everton wouldnt bottle it like that I think.

Pogon?

I passed through there once on the way to Berlin possibly.
A good achievement getting to the final though?

Our 4th final in 76 years, so it's something, but most fans are fed up. Can't win anything like it's a curse. Worse than Tottenham

I mean:
51 years top flight football
Monopoly in region (no other serious clubs within 200 miles)
Great support home & away
Rich sponsors

And yet somehow 0 trophies from 1948. Unbelievable.
