what does this mean mush??
Harry Catterick. Won the league and FA Cup as manager as Everton and gave us "the Holy Trinity" of Kendall, Harvey and Ball...

In fact, he's not looking into the future. He's looking into the past.
LEEDS.
NEWCASTLE.

Are you honestly arguing that spending money in the short term, and not having a great youth set up, automatically means faliure and relegation?
Hell, I'll argue the other way, Leeds had a terrific youth set up as did Southampton. But in both caes the finances were so bad they had to sell their kdis too early. Neither tactic of concentrating on youth or concentrating on spending money guarantees either success or failiure.
No mate. It's both. Chelsea were a top 6 team before investment.
But, anyway, both are left with massive debts. Something we don't have. Something that will become oh so relevant in the near future.

I absolutely agree with Arteta fan about the pissing contest. It's absurd. The same as petty comments about spelling, grammar or syntax errors. If they were a crime we'd all be in prison
Brum fans, Ii was talking to my cousin the time when Rooney was off. We both agreed that we'd rasther lose Rooney than Moyes. He's not above criticism ( who is?) but he's the best thing that has happened to us since Howard Kendall furst took over. I'd say the same about McCleish for you. If there's anything English football history prooves it's that you can't beat a canny Scot at the helm.
Haven't seen enough of Jerome to comment on him really but I do tend to trust my fellow posters' views in general. Zamora is always going to be good but not great. And as for Jimmy Mac, I imagine you're going through the same kind of frustration we went through. Hasn't got the pace to be a true world beater but with more consistancy he's got the talent to be a very good player. I bet you really like the lad and want so much for him to do it and prove the doubters wrong. I know I did. Good luck next season.
Thats correct. Its about spending correctly and having the cornerstone of the team with youth players coming through and developed within the club
Our Brum friends mentioned Scott Dann and thats it.
So are Birmingham going to spend £24 million every summer? And if so how long will the Hong Kong businessman do that considering that Birmingham's turnover is only £50million and they've a smaller stadium than us by about 10,000!

Yeah I see Birmingham in the market for top players like these 2 clubs![]()
have you lent his crystel ball??
your friend has pointed out that you would love the nzogbia but cant afford him. we can. but who knows????
