Match Thread Everton 0-0 Chelsea, Sunday December 22nd, 2pm

if we win boss, if we draw fine, if we lose, meh, it was expected plus it keeps them snapping at the heels of the rs. So for once, this game wont destroy my weekend. Before I get slaughtered, I absolutely don’t want us to get bet just to spite the rs, but of we were to get beat it is a little consolation prize!

1-0 loss I'm afraid. We win the coin toss and choose to kick into the strong winds. Young attempts a long, cross field pass, only for the wind to whip it backwards, past a flailing Pickford. The fans immediately forget how Young has single handidly propelled us to 16th and spend the next 88 minutes snarling, booing and shaking their heads.

Merry Christmas.

Hello all

It will be first time at Goodison Park - just managed to get a ticket through the website!

My train leaves Lime Street at 16:43 to go back to Bristol.
What's the best way to get from Goodison to Lime Street please?
Are there still buses that leave by the Everton shop - or is that out of date information now?
Just wondering if I should make my train in time.

Thanks for any advice.

Buses go from across the road from the shop to Lime street . You may need to leave with a minute or 2 to go to make sure you get on in time . Depends on what stand you are in too how quick you get out
