Match Thread Everton 0-0 Chelsea, Sunday December 22nd, 2pm

Basically irrelevant that these play tonight as they usually field a different 11 in Europe. And we tend to look more tired than the teams that have a midweek game anyway.
As you can see, I'm not feeling very optimistic about this one. The only glimmer of hope is that we also occaisionally help the rs out by taking points off their rivals and we can't really afford to be worrying about that.

Suspect he’s winding you up mate , game will go ahead I’m sure
Don’t really get how it’s so unrealistic to be honest.

The derby was 60mph winds on the day. We play Sunday which is due for 55mph winds all day, and even the day before is 40mph winds.

But I said the derby was likely to be called off and got told that would never happen too. I think there’s more of a chance this game gets played but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t.

Genuinely I hadn’t seen anything to do with the game being under threat , perhaps that’s down to me being busy at Christmas but had no clue there was any issue at all .

Anyone else have a view on this please - think the game might get postponed?
There's no Weather warning for the area on Sunday, but there are 50mph winds forecast.
Anyone remember the wind speeds for the derby when it was called off?
Thanks
Local weather has gusts forecast up to 61mph for kick off time with a yellow warning in place for wind and likely travel disruption, this however may change.

Think the forecast actually had 70mph gusts predicted for the derby, they didn’t necessarily materialise (60mph is still significant though).

Currently predicting 60mph gusts and a yellow warning in place. I was convinced the derby would go ahead but I’m not convinced about this weekend based on that decision.
