Wet probably can. But a point at Emirates is an excellent result. A point home to on form chelsea is a good result. Just need to beat the mid table teams and those around us
Oh I would have gladly taken it mate before last week, but it's fairly drab stuff. Good spirit and fight shown that's a positive. Apart from Ndiaye creating something and set piece goals we are blunt.

A solid display against arguably the best team in the country right now certainly the best attacking team anyway and with better players than Harrison and Doucoure we would have won it. Yet another poor performance from Kavanagh as how we has 4 bookings to Chelsea's one was ludicrous.
Doucoure is the whipping boy LOL . Take him out of the team today and Chelsea scores at least 3

….you can only play the hand you’re dealt and maybe we’d be like Ipswich and Soton if we were more expansive, who knows.

Chelsea must have hated that and good on that defensive organisation and commitment to thwart genuine attacking quality. We could have nicked it had Harrison not spurned an easy chance, symptomatic of our lack of quality in attacking areas. All in all I was content to see only 2 mins injury time and hear the final whistle.

Young terrific in the first half, hardly gave Sancho an inch but that changed in the 2nd and he had to get hooked when he did. The middle three worked so hard, but I thought the 2 CBs were combative and secure against genuine talent. Branthwaite maybe had his best game of the season and earns my MOM vote.

Possibly your best post this season

Get lost Zat, it was bloody awful for the most part, its not the Everton I want too watch. I'm pleased we didn't lose but at times in the first half the midifeild giving the ball away for fun and the 40 yard gaps between them and the striker, wingers playing at fullback. You might want too watch that ale house rubbish but I don't mate.
Would you rather us go toe to toe against them and get battered like Southampton did, I thought it was a very disciplined good performance from everyone even managing to get forward at times.
